The Inventory Clerk will facilitate the advancement of the fundamental principles of the reliability centered maintenance (RCM) program. Work with Maintenance Planner, Process Leads and Maintenance technicians to research, order, inventory and maintain spare parts inventories and all consumable items required for Preventative maintenance activities. Assist the Maintenance Planner in the successful implementation and operation of all levels of the EAM / CMMS Program.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Work with Maintenance Planner and Maintenance Technicians to get proper level of feedback from them for completed jobs.

* Work with Maintenance Planner, Process Leads and Maintenance technicians to gain concurrence of plan details (manpower, tools, special considerations, etc.).

* Utilize CMMS for the creation of task lists and maintenance plans to assist in job planning. Maintain all levels of the CMMS Plant Maintenance Module.

* Provide accurate and detailed information to contractors and ensure they provide accurate and cost effective estimates.

* Maintain professional working relationships with core suppliers so that Portolas interests are protected.

* Ensure stores items are available and reserved for scheduled work. Generate requisitions for items that are not store items. Ensure that current and future spare parts inventory levels directly support business requirements for PM/PdM and Critical Spares.

* Coordinate with Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Planner, Process Leads and Maintenance Technicians the status of parts to facilitate their daily scheduling. Participate in weekly reliability planning meeting to facilitate successful execution of future PMs.

* Ensure PM schedules and time lines are updated, published and communicated prior to the PM. Assist in ensuring that RCM metric reports from CMMS are generated at set frequencies.

* Assist in publishing and distributing PMs that are automatically generated through CMMS.

**QUALIFICATIONS:**

* Minimum two-year technical degree 3 years of experience with maintenance and inventory management.. Experience can be considered in Lieu of education.

* Familiarity and/or experience with Injection and Compression Molding

* Exposure to or involvement in ISO systems

* Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills and basic math skills.

* Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).

* Exceptional project management skills are essential.

* Must be a self-starter; possess good people skills, strong personal leadership, organizational skills, oral and written communication skills.

* Uses technical skills to effectively solve problems and complete difficult assignments *PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Ability to lift and carry 40 pounds and be able to stand on concrete surface for several hours
